Executive Order #14113 was issued on December 21, 2023, raising the Executive Level II salary amount to $221,900 for pay periods beginning on or after January 1, 2024. Please follow the instructions for updating Mandatory Cost Sharing for all DHHS sponsored projects on January - April 2024 SPARs.
February 5th marks the opening of the September - December 2023 certification period. Please refer to our website for important dates related to the certification period and to find helpful resources for effort coordinators and PIs.
Federal PIs who have certification responsibilities but have a Student, Volunteer or Terminated status will require a Proxy and/or Designee assignment. While our office sends notices of these requirements to each department at the beginning of the certification period, it is the responsibility of the department administrator and PI to ensure all Proxy/Designee requirements are identified and requests are submitted to our office. Please submit these requests timely to allow the Proxy/Designee ample time to login to ECC and complete certification. If a Proxy/Designee has issues logging into ECC or completing certification, they should contact SPARhelp@cfo.pitt.edu immediately so the issue can be addressed.
