Vacation time, sick time, overtime, holiday time, and other non-regular earnings for hourly employees do not download to ECC and are not included on the effort statement, consistent with monthly employees.

When modifying May – August SPARs from July 1 until November 30, the following pop-up box will appear when you click the Save button. This alert is to remind you that entity 02 lines on this SPAR with May and/or June dates will be subject to fiscal year end cut off rules:

  • Charges to an entity 02 or 03 account will appear in the new fiscal year (FY23).
  • Credits to an entity 02 or 03 account will default to a General University account.

During the announced SPAR closure periods, which are posted on the FCR website and in each Effortless Facts calendar, please be sure to save and close any SPAR you are modifying and completely log out of PRISM by 5pm prior to the SPAR closure period. This will prevent issues with the payroll processing that occurs during the closure period.

Please be aware that ECC may have a delayed opening on mornings when a large payroll file has been loaded from PRISM. This occurs shortly after monthly and biweekly pay has been processed.  The following message will be displayed at log in.  We appreciate your patience while the system finishes its processing.
