FISCAL YEAR-END CUT OFF ALERT!!! The SPAR application will go into Query Only mode at 5:00 pm on June 24, 2026. All FY 2026 SPAR entries must be recorded prior to this established cut-off. Please review Emily’s email from May 20th for more details related to the FY 2026 cut-off dates for SPAR and SWCT 90-Day Exception Requests.
After June 24th, SPAR modifications to May-June 2026 lines involving 02 accounts will be subject to Fiscal Year-End Cut Off rules:
- Charges to an entity 02 or 03 account will appear in the new fiscal year (FY 27).
- Credits to an entity 02 or 03 account will default to a General University account.
June 8th marks the opening of the January-April 2026 certification period. Please refer to the Certification Period and Other Critical Dates section on our website for important dates related to the certification period and to find helpful resources for effort coordinators and PIs.
