For the 12th time since the inception of electronic certification at Pitt and for the fourth period in a row, we have achieved 100% compliance in the certification of 6,118 effort statements! Particularly impressive since this period had one of our largest pools of certifiable effort statements to date and culminated with the University working remotely for the first time! As the University adjusts to working remotely, we would like to remind you that DocuSign signatures are accepted on all forms from the Financial Compliance for Research website. Additionally, all forms on our website are fillable PDFs. Based on your computer’s configuration, you may not be able to see the fillable boxes on the form. If this happens, download the form by saving it to your computer. The saved file will allow you to access and fill the data boxes.

The reports available in SPAR and ECC can make the applications more useful tools for you. One such report is the SPAR Form Report - PLDR816. The report details SPAR data at the RC, Department or Individual level which can be generated and printed or downloaded in both PDF and Excel Formats. An instruction guide is available to assist with producing this report.
